There is a shocking piece of legislation working its way through Congress. A Defense Authorization bill for 2012 allows for military detentions of American citizens on American soil. These can be indefinite detentions, with no trial.
“The U.S. Senate is considering the unthinkable: changing detention laws to imprison people — including Americans living in the United States itself — indefinitely and without charge.”
“The Defense Authorization bill — a “must-pass” piece of legislation — is headed to the Senate floor with troubling provisions that would give the President — and all future presidents — the authority to indefinitely imprison people, without charge or trial, both abroad and inside the United States.”
Well done RH.
Thanks for the link.
How can we trust the present DOJ with any kind of justice, and just who does McCain consider threats to America ?
I see Martial law, or a version of it on the horizon.
If the senate passes this bill, it will be interesting to see what Obama does with it.
Yes, I would agree that it’s not far away, at the rate we’re going right now.
Thank you Righthook for bringing this to our attention. This is just another piece in the puzzle I have been working on. As far as Martial Law in America is concerned it is no longer a matter of “If” but rather “When”
This is something I have been watching very carefully and have posted Articles that have taken me to the edge of Conspiracy Theorist in the view of some. I feel this too important not to write on regardless of the light it sheds me in.
Oh, I think you’ve been right on the money. And yes, it’s a matter of when, not if.
RH I clicked on the link to Mountain Republic and was met with a Internet Security Warning and the page was blocked.
That’s weird. I just clicked on it, and was able to access the page.
Turns out it is my own Internet Security system that issued the warning.
Here is a comprehensive gathering of information on Martial Law

…and there’s more to it than the indefinite incarceration bit:
