From USA Today:

Vice President Biden reached out to Iraqi President Jalal Talabani today to offer condolences after a series of bombings killed dozens in Baghdad earlier on Thursday, according to the White House.

As the Associated Press reports, 16 bombs exploded in the capital on Thursday, killing at least 69 people in the worst violence Iraq has seen in months and just days after the last American forces left the country. No one has taken responsibility for the attacks.

“We strongly condemn the terrorist attacks against innocent Iraqis, which serve no agenda other than murder and hatred,” the White House said in a statement. “We offer our condolences to those whose loved ones were lost or wounded. Attempts such as this to derail Iraq’s continued progress will fail.”  Read more

Are you kidding me?  The White House condemns the attacks?  They’re the reason this happened!  We all knew it was coming.  The experts have been predicting this for months.  As soon as Obama removed the troops from Iraq, we knew the violence would quickly escalate.  It’s not like Obama’s advisers and military experts didn’t tell him this.  But does he care?  No.  It’s all about politics.  He promised to get the troops out of Iraq, come hell or high water, and that’s exactly what he did, in order to please his base.

So now what?  What happens when the violence continues to escalate?  What happens when Iran makes their move?  What are we going to do?  Let them all kill each other, or get involved again?  Has all of this been in vain?  They’re going to revert to exactly the way things were before.  But I can guarantee you, Obama won’t lose a minute’s sleep over it.

The next question…are we going to have the same thing happen in Afghanistan?  Of course.  Obama already told everyone on the planet when he’s withdrawing troops, so the bad guys are just sitting around, waiting for us to leave.  So our troops died for nothing?  But, of course, we’ve…how did Obama say it…”taken bin Laden off the field”.  Who says that??  And is that total success to him?

Look at the Middle East situation.  Has anything improved during Obama’s time in the White House?  No.  In fact, it’s become even more destabilized than it was before.   Let’s look at Egypt.  While Mubarak was no saint, he was considered an ally, and kept the peace with Israel.  Now, Mubarak is out, and it looks like the Muslim Brotherhood is in, whose mission is: (1) to implement shariah worldwide, and (2) to re-establish the global Islamic State (caliphate), and whose mission in America “is a kind of grand Jihad in eliminating and destroying the Western civilization from within and ‘sabotaging’ its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and God’s religion is made victorious over all other religions.” (the mission statement for the MB is found in one of its secret documents entitled “An Explanatory Memorandum on the General Strategic Goal for the Group in North America”.)   Oh, well that’s sooo much better.   Look at Libya.  Ghaddafi is out, but now Sharia law is moving in.  Well, that’s just great.   And now the violence in Iraq, and next, Afghanistan….and let’s not forget Syria and Yemen.   The Obama administration and MSM praised the Arab Spring happening through these regions, but its pretty clear, it’s not democracy moving in.  It’s more of the same, or something even worse.

The audacity of the White House to say anything about Iraq at this point, when they basically welcomed the enemy in, is just beyond the pale.

As we’ve seen, not only throughout the 2008 presidential campaign, but also in the last 3 years of the Obama presidency, anyone who disagrees with the Obama administration or liberal point of view is quickly labeled a racist.  Any black conservative is labeled a traitor, hater or an Uncle Tom.

Now, the new buzz word is Jim Crow.  More and more states are working to implement voter ID laws, which only require voters to show a photo ID when they show up at the polls.  And Democrats are quickly taking up this issue as their newest example of racism from the Republican party.  The point of this voter ID law is to curb voter fraud, which was rampant in recent elections, most notably, in the 2008 election, where ACORN workers and volunteers signed up large numbers of fictitious voters.  But Democrats are using this as a way to claim that Republicans are trying to disenfranchise voters, and they’ve turned it into a black/white issue.

The most recent incident of this absurd comparison was by former CBC chair, Barbara Lee.  In a speech on the House floor, Congresswoman Lee claimed that the Republican party is trying to deny blacks the right to vote and are “turning back the clock to the days of Jim Crow.”

Lee claims this will prevent 25% of blacks and 20% of Hispanics and Asians  from voting.   I’d love to know where she comes up with these numbers.  Why is it such a big deal to have to show a photo ID?  They’re required for almost everything in this country.  You have to have ID to drive, rent or buy a home, get a credit card, turn on utilities, buy a car, write a check at the grocery store, purchase alcohol or cigarettes, get on a plane, or receive public assistance.  Even if you don’t have a photo ID, they’re not exactly difficult to obtain.  One can go to their local DMV and get one for $5-$10 in most states.

America, when is this going to get old?  I, for one, am so sick and tired of every word of disagreement being interpreted as racism.  Good grief.  Can’t I just have a different opinion??  Isn’t that what makes America, America?  The freedom to voice a different opinion?  Isn’t that why our soldiers risk their lives every day?

Congresswoman Lee and her ilk should be ashamed of themselves.  I don’t know how they sleep at night.  I just can’t wrap my head around that type of mentality….lying, hateful intolerance and character assassination.  Why do we keep putting these people in office??  Is this who we want to speak for us?  Is this really the type of person that represents OUR America?  I don’t think so….and if it is, we’re in big trouble.
